Banks, Kutcher, Beauty, Charm & "The Arrow of Time"

I saw this link on Twitter.  A family who photographed themselves once a year on the same day for the last 30+ years.  I'm not sure if that's cool or creepy, but it reminded me of this verse:

Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised." (Proverbs 31: 30 NIV)

This is a classic verse on the Godly woman, but it holds true for all of us.  It keeps our vanity in check and reminds us that: 

"The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.  Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7b NIV)

Along these same lines, my wife and I have been enjoying the new show True Beauty, brought to you by Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher.
