Chart: Qualifications for Elders or Deacons

I had trouble finding an appropriate resource for Scripture references that discuss the qualifications for deacons and elders.  I'm sure it's out there, but my Google Mojo failed me over the weekend.

This Elder/Deacon Qualification Chart is a modified version of the one that appears in the 10th Anniversary  NIV Study Bible.  We posted it on the back of our nomination forms at Effingham Presbyterian.

This particular chart is gender neutral, since different churches and denominations have different standards.  In the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARP) The office of Elder is limited to men while the officer of deacon is open (in many churches) to men or women.

*Note (6/23/20): For qualifications that apply to both Elder and Deacon, the top line in standard font is for Elders and the bottom line in italicized font is for deacons. Likewise, the top line Scripture reference is in standard font for Elders and italicized font for Deacons.
